Hello everyone :-)
I got completely hooked again (after two and a half decades) on the Pros. I already googled quite a lot and found a couple of well stocked archives which I intend to read from the beginning to the end. But I´d really like to start with stories that meet my preferences in slash which means I am looking for dark, angsty stories, no AU though. As I am also a huge sucker for h/c I´d be happy get some recs for stories where Bodie is hurt and Doyle is the comforter. I really appreciate your help :-).

Do you have any squick? Like partner rape/betrayal. And do you remember authors you enjoyed when you were last in Pros? It would help with the selection :)

Consider me a complete newbie in Pros fandom :-). Back in the 80s I fell for them hard, but I didn´t know that things like zines existed back then, so I had only my imagination :-).

My only squick would be domestic discipline, everything else like rape, death, betrayal is something I´d prefer actually as you can find these things often in dark, angsty stories.

With DD I associate things like an established relationship where one of both is always the dominant one, who punishes his sub when he did something wrong (for often childlish reasons). Punishments are usually standing in the corner and spanking and the goal is to "forgive" and move on.

BDSM is okay for me though, the harder the better :-).

Thanks for the welcome and the rec - I´ll be checking it out as soon as I can. I know Kitty Fisher from my old fandom, she wrote only one, but terrific story if I remember correctly.
