Is it just me, or has the search facility on the Archive gone a bit tits up?

Just did a bit of a search (admittedly very limited) and it seemed ok.

Mind you, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the whole thing goes tits up, given that the owner isn't even remotely involved in the fandom any more.

Very sad.

Ditch the https:// and try:

http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/tca/cgi-bin/search.cgi

or

I *think* I've solved it Sue, think an adblocker was preventing the flash from working properly as I've finally got pages to load. Must have been a coincidence that it happened on my works PC as well and dont know if I have anough access to tinker with that and it looks like I'll have to work out how to do the same thing on Firefox as well. It's made me determined however. When there were hacking issues some years ago on the Hatstand, as soon as I got access, I started to download the longer stories onto disc and actually collated over 900. I've no idea how many stories are on the archive, but I'd hate to lose them because of a technical issue. It might take me some years, so watch this space!

Maybe - if it was forcing the https:// in your browser window. If I used that instead of the normal URL I got the results you did. Anyway, glad you have the search going!

It was the hosts, slashcity, that had the problem.
