Hmmn - depends what you mean by "romantic" and what you mean by "schmoopy"!! What are some of your favourite Pros stories, and perhaps we can find equivalent "romantic" stories!

In Hot Water and Springtime in Paris are romantic but not toooo lovey-dovey.

We have a fic club and this is an upcoming genre.

There is Pros recs on dreamwidth if you want to play there. . . several of us used to do monthly discussions. . . . we cross many time zones. I'll email you with the next one on DW - don't have to be a member to play there.

Ah, like the Reading Room on CI5hq, then! I've been thinking how much I miss that, and wondering if we should try playing again, and there you're playing in another forum!

To be honest I find it hard enough to keep up with lj, but yes, do let me know when the next one is, thanks! (I don't remember seeing these mentioned on the Pros newsletter - have I just missed them, or do they not make an appearance?)

If you've not already read it - The Anniversary (http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/tca/archive/8/theanniversary.html) by Sebastian. Typically understated British lads but with one of the most romantic-withou-being-soppy lines I think I've ever read.

And thank you - I haven't read this for a while, and when looking up the URL I took the time to read it again. It's lovely.
