Long story?

I can only remember one specific thing about this story, and it's something about Bodie and Doyle having had a falling out, followed by a separation and Murphy tells Bodie that he brought in a recording of Bodie's voice and pretended he was Bodie, when Doyle was in hospital. And that Murphy thought Doyle had paid for whatever had happened.
