Story Help

I've been looking for one story for a rather long time, but I just haven't been able to find it.  As I remember it, Doyle was stuck in a crashed car (I believe his legs were caught under the dash) in the English countryside trying to piece together the events that had lead to the accident.  Later Bodie comes to his rescue, and Doyle spends some time fading in and out of consciousness.

I hope this isn't too vague!  Any and all help is very much appreciated.
