Unrequited love

I remember reading a 'realistic' story here on lj. Broke my little slashy heart i swore I'd never read it again. It has Bodie giving his heart to Doyle but D is straight. I think Bodie poured out his feeling in a car? But Doyle really doesn't love him that way. Anyway then Bodie sulks and avoids Doyle when off-duty. Doyle found Bodie in a shooting range but B was missing a lot of targets.
Doyle then stood behind Bodie, alligned their arms together and shoot the target. I can't remember the ending. Whether Doyle tried to give Bodie what he wants or not.

There might be another story like that written around that time too. Or the story has alternate ending.
