Post "The Rack" stories

Just finished reading "Prize Fight" by Russ. There was another post "Rack" story where Coogan kidnapped Doyle, drugged him, Ray gets away but has an impaired memory and an older homeless lady takes him in. Can't remember the author or the title. Anybody know the story? Thanks!
