Story Vaguely Remembered

Vaguely remember a story wherein Bodie suffers a head injury that affects his speech (I think).  He is still sort of working at CI% but in records andis tormented/bullied by some arrogant new comers.  He runs off to a bolt hole and rehabs himself by doing odd jobs for a neighbour, then gets caught up in a robbery.  Does anyone recall this story? Does anyone know its title and where I can find it? TKs
