looking for a story

Not much to go on, I know, but in the story (and I think it was the beginning) Ray is on trial and convicted of a crime (I think something he did for CI5, and Cowley, to protect his organization, hangs Ray out to dry). I think even Bodie is convinced Ray should go to jail....

There are two I can think of that are close:

The Pillory (http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/tca/archive/5/thepillory.html) by Kitty Fisher (Bodie thinks Doyle deserves it, but Doyle got stitched up)

and Neon Nights (http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/tca/archive/3/neonnights.html) by Elessar (Doyle did it for CI5, but Bodie doesn't think he deserved it)

Both are bloody good.
