I'm Always Looking for Pros
Jun. 18th, 2007 10:12 pmI discovered Pros as a series and a fandom several years ago, and Bodie and Doyle still remain my # 1 slash pairing even though I enjoy many fandoms right now. I'm always looking for great fic, photos and icons. (I even bought a particular dvd player that had a crackable code so that I could play my pros eps.)
A while back I attended a pros panel at a con and it was really a great panel because the moderators had been in the fandom forever and many were writers. One thing they did was recommend what they considered to be the best of what pros fandom had to offer.
I took notes *blushes* and found some of the recommended zines and writers. They remain among my favorites. I'm hoping to find some classic (and some not-so-classic) recommendations here.
Some favorites: (Artist) Suzan Lovett, (Zines) Harlequin Airs by Ellis Ward and Whisper of a Kill by Lois Welling.
What are some of your favorites?
