looking for a story

I looked a bit for this one on my own, but I will admit to being lazy. I think the story is set at Christmas (or some holiday) and Doyle doesn't want to celebrate. He lost a lover and travels out of town for a memorial(?), Bodie doesn't know Ray is gay, Cowley tells him why Ray is gone... Sound familiar to anyone?
