I'm starting to think I imagined this story (which is worrying - it is not a storyline I want to imagine!) but if I didn't imagine it, it's somewhere on the CD. As per the subject, it's set in the wake of In The Public Interest, and it follows Bodie thinking over the events of the episode. And there's some mention of how Doyle had completely failed to understand something about the leaflets they have been humping around in those boxes (Bodie remembers the comments Doyle made about them), and failed to notice other things - perhaps overtures, or he didn't react to something that a gay or bi man might react to, I forget. So Bodie, who *is* gay or bi, finally concludes that a relationship with Doyle will never happen.
Oh. I'm definitely not thinking of that longish one where Bodie goes back to Unnamed City and gets involved with an OMC called Toby and possibly with Pellin as well, and Toby really fancies Pellin. I know about that one. The one I have in mind is (if it exists!) much shorter and I'm not sure that other characters even feature. If they do, they are entirely a backdrop for Bodie's thoughts.
