Bodie is programmed to harm Doyle

Referring to The Return by Ellis Ward there must be another story with a programmed Bodie.
I remember Bodie shoots Doyle in his shoulder ? on the stairs at HQ. Maybe the same story sometime later: Bodie is encircled in the CI5 carpark and Doyle only wants to talk to him, being sure to get Bodie back.

Any bells ringing ? I am getting mad if I can't remember what story is fiercely working in my mind *g*

It really does ring a bell, especially the car park scene but I can't remember the title! It's going to drive me mad now... It's not by allie, JGL or Holden, is it? Or a Bodie Lost Bodie Found kind of (two) stories?

P.S. I might be confusing it with Doyle being programmed in a JGL story.

Bodie Lost and Bodie Found by Ally - there's Bodie drugged and Doyle is taking care about him. I think there isn't any action against Doyle. E. Holden, I haven't read much by this author.
JGL wrote a story were Doyle is programmed ?
May I might mixed it up too ?

Didn't something similar happen in the Palest Ink? Doyle disappears for a while and on his return Bodie doubts it's him.

Yes, Doyle is an imposter or not.
I am just checking on lbc Beyond Recognition: Bodie and Doyle are in a relationship, but Bodie goes on a six month undercover op and is captured. After he is rescued, he returns as a different person with disastrous consequences to the partnership and to Ray Doyle.

“Sir, Bodie, 3.7, has just shot Doyle!”

All three individuals ran down the corridor to the stairs which led to the lower floor, with Anson leading the way. By the time they got to the foyer entrance to the rear of CI5, the situation was clearly under control. Doyle was lying on the floor with his head cradled in Murphy’s lap. There was blood covering his right shoulder area.

Think I've found part one. I am going to check the end of this story. Maybe I'll find the car park scene too. But if you haven't read this story, and we both have the thing in mind, I won't find it.

I have to give up, sadly. That scene could be from an amnesia story as well. I'll keep it in my mind. Or hopefully someone else knows.

I do, but I don't remember the title and can't find it in AO3's Search.

It's a follow-up to a story I have not read. Bodie was kidnapped, drugged and brainwashed. Then he's in a car accident. Doyle is rescuing him when Bodie suddenly turns on him, hissing "Judas" and trying to strangle him. Then he forgets he did that.

I don't remember a car park, though. Is this the story you mean?
