Found - Agents' alternate fates

I'm looking for the fic in which some sort of supernatural entity is showing Cowley what the fates his agents could have been in an alternate timeline.

Specifically: Bodie is gut shot and dies in the aftermath of some battle in Africa. Doyle dies of a heroin overdose. Murphy works as a bartender at a seedy bar.

Ring any bells?

Sounds like one of the Christmas stories written by M. Fae Glasgow (?) I've read. Cowley is like the guy in Dickens Christmas story, Ebenezer Srcooch.

Oh, and it is Tommy McKay who shows the alternate fate to Cowley.

No, it wasn't that one. It may have been a holiday story on the pattern of It's Wonderful Life or A Christmas Carol, though I don't remember it as one, and trying to search for it as if it were hasn't yet been successful.

Also, I've just remembered that, at the end, Cowley says something like, "show me my agents as they actually are," and when he is shown a vision of reality, he discovers that Bodie and Doyle are a couple.
