I'm sorry to bother you but I have been looking for a story for a while and can not find it. I'm virtually certain it was on the Circuit Archive as that's where I do most of my reading.

At the outset, it involved Ray's wife being killed in a auto accident, I believe, altho she may have been shot. I think she was in South America working, as a journalist.

She had been fond of Bodie and had sensed that Bodie and Doyle loved each other and that it could have been more, and she left letters or comments to that effect. The bulk of the story, IIRC, was Bodie and Doyle dealing w/ her death and learning that their feelings for one another were more than platonic. I definitely think it was slash.

I'd appreciate any suggestions as to title or author. Thanks so much.

It's Aftermath by Gwyneth Rhys, on the Circuit and the Hatstand. I quite like this one, quite gentle and reflective. But definitely slash!

GW does sadly reflective quite well, though her most well-known story These Things Do Not Remember You is just too sad for me.

But Aftermath is quite lovely I think I must go and re-read it!
