I’ve just read two beautiful  holiday stories:
„Et In Italia Ego…“ by Sebastian, and  „Of Sunshine And Cemetaries“  by Slantedlight.
My tip:  read it together with one or two glasses of Calvados for the local colour… :-)
And now I need more holiday mood!
Does anybody know some more stories with the boys out of CI5, a bit more relaxed and happy? That doesn’t mean that there should be just  love, peace and harmony – but some kind of holiday feeling and some foreign places would be nice!

How about 'In Hot Water - An Idyll' by JM?

The lads are still in CI5 in this story, but they manage to combine an op with a holiday, and there's a lovely relaxed feel to the whole thing. Only available on the Proslib CD unfortunately - there's a short review of the story at CI5hq HERE (http://community.livejournal.com/ci5hq/54292.html/)

Ack! Sorry about the link!

Glad you were able to find it, anyway. *g*

Et In Italia Ego is fantastic to a point, but it's frustrating for me at the end because I HATE the ending. For such a gorgeous piece needs a wonderfully happy ending. For me, anyway *g*

Have you read Sebastian's B&D By The Sea? Now that is one of my fave pieces. It's not set abroad, sadly, but it is very evocative of old English seaside resorts.

Well, you might have to wait a little for these ones, but I've just posted a new challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] discoveredinalj - and I've mentioned a few holiday fics there too... *g*

Very glad you liked Of Sunshine and Cemeteries *vbg*!
