Holiday stories
Jul. 6th, 2008 11:42 amI’ve just read two beautiful holiday stories:
„Et In Italia Ego…“ by Sebastian, and „Of Sunshine And Cemetaries“ by Slantedlight.
My tip: read it together with one or two glasses of Calvados for the local colour… :-)
And now I need more holiday mood!
Does anybody know some more stories with the boys out of CI5, a bit more relaxed and happy? That doesn’t mean that there should be just love, peace and harmony – but some kind of holiday feeling and some foreign places would be nice!

Date: 2008-07-06 10:08 am (UTC)The lads are still in CI5 in this story, but they manage to combine an op with a holiday, and there's a lovely relaxed feel to the whole thing. Only available on the Proslib CD unfortunately - there's a short review of the story at CI5hq HERE (http://community.livejournal.com/ci5hq/54292.html/)

Date: 2008-07-06 11:25 am (UTC)And for I'm not that big Starsky and Hutch fan, I wouldn't mind if it would be "...just too.. Starsky and Hutch-like" as Callistosh65 mentioned!
Btw: your link doesn't work for me.
I try a new one:

Date: 2008-07-06 12:49 pm (UTC)Have you read Sebastian's B&D By The Sea? Now that is one of my fave pieces. It's not set abroad, sadly, but it is very evocative of old English seaside resorts.

Date: 2008-07-06 01:06 pm (UTC)But the good thing with fanfiction is that we can think or even write our own endings! I don't think that they could really end up their love just because of some "little difficulties" at home...
"By The Sea" is a good idea. I've already heard about it!
And don't worry! Old English seaside resorts are abroad enough for me! :-)
