Protective Bodie fic?

Hi, I'm looking for some comfort fic since RL isn't going too well lately. If it's possible, could you rec me a nice, long Bodie/Doyle fic where Bodie is extra protective of his partner? Bonus points if it's a first-time fic. If that's not available, then a possessive Bodie.

You could try Rosemary's huge classic Catch a Fallen Star, which is protective Bodie to the nth degree, and just pages of it too.*g*

How about Professional Dreamer (if you're okay with AUs - but it's the most amazing AU-not-an-AU) by Pamela Rose? It's very protective Bodie and also first time fic! One of my favourite comfort fics...

Have you read Tarot's "Of Tethered Goats and Tigers"? That's a nicely possessive/protective Bodie. It's on either the Circuit or the Hatstand. Since you don't mind AU's, you should also read "The Tangled Web" by Jack Reuban Darcy. Definitely a protective Bodie. *g*

My all time favorite, Rules by PFL, at The Circuit. And my second all time favorite (barely a comma behind, trust me!) is Amid the Noise and Haste by Callisto (read all hers anyway.)
