I found her Stage Fright on CD which is supposed to be the sequel to Camera Shy which unfortunately isn´t on CD. But without the prequel it doesn´t make much sense to read Stage Fright. Could anyone help me to find said story?

Hey!

It's been months since you posted this, but would you mind sharing a copy of Camera Shy with me? I'm really really want to read it.

Please let me know your answer, and thanks in advance!

I can email you a copy of Camera Shy (although be warned, it's quite hefty - 80,000 words)

I'm trying to remember now how I came by it - I *think* I may have saved it from one of the old Proslib CDs, before the author withdrew it.

Was just going to reply in the affirmative, but I see that [livejournal.com profile] hagsrus is going to do the honours.

Hope you enjoy the story!

I did receive it from [livejournal.com profile] hagsrus, but thank you!

Although... Is your version pre-formatted as well? The fixed width makes it hard to print as the text only takes half the width of the page... If your is not, could you please send it to me?

Thanks!
Falconer

If it is possible, I would like to be able to read this too, am a bit of a completist at heart, so have been taking not of the things on my CD I shouldn't start as their prequel/sequel is no longer there (if that makes sense?).

Same here. I mean, I know that whatever reasons the author wanted it pulled are of course to be respected, but at the same time... I like fanfic. Especially long fanfic.

I assume why the author pulled it out is for this reason

Check this website

The first book is
Camera Shy by Matthew Parkes
Assigned to trap a political assassin, AFIS agent, Jack Ballam, is ordered to use Sydney's top male model, Tane Caton, as bait. At their first meeting, Ballam is instantly, dangerously attracted to the man.

On the verge of a new career in films and vulnerable, Caton is unaware the adviser helping him to prepare for his first role as a mercenary will use him ruthlessly and betray him.
Actually I had read the extract before even entering The pros fanfic world. Imagine my surprise when on starting to read Camera Shy by Meg Lewtan, I found it very familiar:)

Same here too. I adore novelfics and I've been staring at the sequel pathetically because I hate reading part two without first reading part one.

Oddly enough, I'm in the middle of re-reading Stage Fright, and was just thinking how much more sense it would make if I'd read Camera Shy, especially because it is a true sequel. Would some kind person send me a copy of Camera Shy, either electorically or in the post? I'm happy to pay for a hard copy, if an electronic version isn't available.

I am going to order the novel, but as it has been re-worked as original characters, I want to read the B/D version first (too hard to do the substitutions on a First Read - if that makes sense?).

Could someone kindly send it to me as well? I'd love to read it before I read Stage Fright. Thank you!
