Help needed, please. I read a story years and years ago and my memory of it is very vague but I think the gist of it was Bodie and Doyle had to undertake some kind of undercover work which involved them being filmed having sex (or simulating sex, can't remember) in a bed (definitely not in a nightclub), and of course, naturally, they fall for each other. I think it was probably on the Circuit Archive and I'd love to know what it was called and who wrote it.

Tarot's "Masquerade" has that aspect to it--they were filmed and had to simulate sex in order to be blackmailed. (That's up at the CA and The Hatstand.) But I also have a vague recollection of another story that also featured filming. Hmm. Well, see if "Masquerade" is the one you were thinking of!

There's also Catcalls by Krisser where they go undercover as models for a photographer with a rather dodgy sideline in porn and gunrunning. They are filmed in private in their room and public and fall for each other during the assignment. Is that the other one you were thinking of?

I love Masquerade. I've been saving Tarot for a special occasion to reread--just go through Masquerade, Of Tethered Goats and Tigers and The Janus in one long, blissful, sequence. *g*

I loved Tethered Goats so much that I also printed that out when I was working just so I could have it to cherish and read again. Janus, I don't think I've read that one........wasn't it the going-back-dream/concussion after an accident story? For some reason it didn't appeal which surprised me as I love Tarot's work. Maybe I should give it another go? I've just finished my third reading of Redemption (sobs), have started your wedding fic and then shall go where my fancy takes me. Maybe Masquerade next or Whisper of a Kill....hmmm...choices, choices.

The Janus is the sequel to the gen story that is that dream/accident story Leap in the Dark. Janus doesn't require knowledge of the original to be understood. Go on and give it a try! (HG's Emerging from the Smoke is also a sequel to that gen story.) Go on, give it a try! It's terrific.

Oh, go on, twist my arm! If you rec it then I think I *should* try it but it will probably be after the other ones I've mentioned. I love having stories lined up to look forward to (particularly after finishing something I love, like Redemption). I've got Exile watiing for me as well but I'm saving that as a kind of treat though I might have to buy *another* treat from Justacat in the near future.......
