Story Search Request - Doyle's Resignation

I'm looking for a story where Doyle has resigned from CI5, but he resigned while Bodie is away on another assignment.

When Bodie returns and learnt of Doyle's resignation, he tracks Doyle down demanding an explanation.  I believe Bodie finds Doyle in the garden or at the nursery tending to flowers.

I’m pretty sure I read this story online. I hope someone can tell me the author and the story title.
