Hello,  Not a prosfic query, but semi-related.  Just wondering if anyone knows of Jack the Ripper fic available online?  The version with Michael Caine and Lewis Collins (of course).

This is going to be just barely a whisker of a shade different from less than no help at all, but I'm sure I've seen one online fic about LC's character. Trouble is I can't remember the name or anything detailed enough about it to make it searchable ....

Promise I'll come back if I remember, though!

I've found one non-Bodie story, written by Asy, from LC's role in Crown Court. I was hoping I might've missed a Jack the Ripper piece of brilliance somewhere along the way. :)

In last year's Big Bang Pros Stories Challenge, one of the proposed story was a Jack the Ripper crossover story.

Slash AU, historical, x-over with Jack the Ripper movie
London. 1888. Jack the Ripper has murdered male as well as female prostitutes. While Inspector Abberline and Sergeant George Godley search for the killer, tough and ambitious Constable Ray Doyle goes undercover as a male prostitute in Whitechapel, determined to catch the killer in the act. When their investigations converge, Godley and Doyle become at first reluctant partners and then lovers.

Due to RL commitments Verlaine was not able to finish the story in time so it was never posted to the CI5-box-of-tricks community (which was quite unfortunate as the story sounded interesting and the artwork from Lorraine would have been awesome).

I'm not sure if Verlaine did finish this story or not, but would love to read this one day….

I'd so love to read that too! Of course it's totally understandable that RL can do this :((( - I do hope that she has been/will be able to finish and post it at some point. Does anyone have any news at all, I wonder?
