1) Bodie is sent on a mission by Cowley, an extermination I think, then he joins Doyle at Doyle's mother's house. Doyle's mother is happy to see Bodie, because they became buddies while during Doyle's last hospital stay?

2) Doyle is injured (surprise!), I think he's staying at his mothers. Bodie comes to see him, an old boyfriend of Doyle's shows up, angst ensues.

Those first two may actually be one in the same story, and I'm just imagining they are two seperate stories. Guess they are seperate stories.

3) Bodie's missing and two of Santa's elves find him and convince Santa to bring him home. Bodie ends up on the couch in Cowley's office but won't tell Cowley&Doyle how he got there.

4) Bodie was missing, is found but seriously injured, he wakes up to Doyle and Cowley in his hospital room. I think this one is part of a series. Cowley is Bodie's father and B&D are newly together.

OK, #2 is found! Thanks everyone! That means that #1 is a different story entirely. So, still looking for 1, 3 and 4.

2) - Is this the one where he has a brother or brother-in-law also staying in the family house, and the brother warns him not to cause trouble with someone else who is staying, unaware that the someone else is an old old boyfriend of Doyle's? And And they go out to the park for a walk, and Bodie comes on them kissing goodbye? And Doyle has his arm in plaster? And there is a sister who knows about Doyle's boyfriends as well as girlfriends? And... and... oh, it is unfurling in front of me now.

Argh! What is it?

I'm 99% sure #3 is by Anne Higgins. I'm pretty sure #4 is, too.

I wonder if #3 and #4 is the same story.

#3 sounds like The Rescue by Anne Higgins.

Could #1 be Christmas Plans by OMS?

No. 4 could be "No Such Thing As an Easy Op" by Anne Higgins, as Bodie wakes up in hospital to Doyle and Cowley in his room, and Cowley is his father.

4 sound like one of Anne Higgins' stories. She pretty much defined the "Cowley is Bodie's Father" trope.
