Hi all!

I'm looking to get a hold of a couple of zines/stories. Does anyone have any thoughts on where I might find them? (I know they are older, but a girl can dream,no? *g*)

Try asking at [livejournal.com profile] loiteringpalely - you'll be able to find them there, and tracking down out of print Pros zines is one fo the major things the comm is for! *g*

If you keep a list of anything you can't find, in May I go to MediaWest, a four day fandom wallow. I can look there for anything you can't locate. It's a good place to hunt up stuff. We can talk about it more off list and see what our options are.

Adding: If you're desperate and willing to be overcharged, you can get in contact with Doctor Beth. She has the largest collection of zines that I know of. I feel her prices are too high but... It's up to you, of course. http://stores.ebay.com/Doctor-Beths-Fanzines

And yet, again, the stories you're asking for are all available from genuine Pros fans rather than ebay dealers trying to make a buck, via [livejournal.com profile] loiteringpalely!

(Sorry K, your comment came to me, because you replied to mine, and I just had to say it!)

That's fine. Some folks want the zine not a photocopy if they're collecting. I was just putting out other options. I don't buy photocopies either, when I buy zines for people (if I can tell, that is).

Ah, I tend to assume that people are buying just so they can read the stories, and would therefore rather not pay the earth for something that was given freely...

Oh, okay. I never buy zines just to read. I try to buy zines I want to keep. I honestly don't need to read every story written in Pros. I don't have enough time to read the stuff I already have! Now I've bought zines I thought would be good and they turned out to be not for me. If I really love the art, I'll keep them. If not, I'll sell them.
