Boys meet as...boys

Hello again. The story where Bodie met Doyle when they were both boys. Bodie was one of a group of youths that robbed Doyles' father's shop, and one boy assaulted Doyle. They meet again as adults, and they remember each other. I think Bodie tells Doyle that after the robbery, he joined a Merchant ship soon after.

I don't see Bodie stealing anything or belonging to a gang of young thugs. No way. It's Doyle who is canonically supposed to have had a lawless youth.
