An hopeless request.
Feb. 11th, 2012 03:11 pmI vaguely remember having read long ago, don't know where, a story where Bodie is in jail (in GB) and suspected of something heavy, very badly treated and eventually rescued by Cowley, or maybe Doyle. But that's just the beginning of the story. He may not be with CI5 at the time and Cowley needs to interrogate him (no, it's not "Whisper of a Kill").
Sometimes I think I may have just dreamed it! Sorry to be so little informative.

I've got a vague memory of other stories but I can't remember specific ones.
Thank you.

Date: 2012-02-11 09:10 pm (UTC)It was Bodie's in jail, not Doyle and he was released in very bad condition, almost broken, like Quinn in Repton.

Date: 2012-02-11 09:45 pm (UTC)Yes I know, I was just going through all the prison stories I knew. The Minerva story isn't the one you're after either but here it is anyway and it's a crossover with MUNCLE: The Discovered in a Congo Prison Affair:

Are you sure Bodie was in a prison and not some kind of Repton-type institution? I'm wondering if it's in a zine or on the CD

Date: 2012-02-11 10:43 pm (UTC)We certainly need a thematic list of "tropes" for the most common situations found in Pros fics; broader than the usual warnings or genres classification.

But it wasn't too bad for Bodie in prison, so it's probably the wrong one.
It's a first met story.
