Two requests, please ...

... although both are only vague recollections and I might have made them both up.

Firstly, did I imagine a sequel to O Yardley's Air on the G String featuring "instructor" Paul de Vere (possibly working on Bodie)?  Or any other story where one of them gets a make over for an undercover op.

Secondly, is there a story where Doyle (possibly ill or injured) and Bodie have an argument, Bodie storms off and Doyle goes after him and rescues him when he falls into a canal (or other water) and gets him back home.

As always, any help will be gratefully received.

For the second one, there's a scene like that in Saints and Miracles (http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/tca/archive/4/saintsand.html). It's a long story though.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is actually the one I was thinking of, not Air on the G String (excellent though it is). The sequel I had in mind is Who Will Buy by Pegasus which is on the CD.

Toddles off happily to spend the evening reading (I can hear a nagging voice in my head muttering housework, but I swear I don't know the meaning of the word!).

Housework? Never heard of it! What is this housework of which you speak? (mind you, when it comes to reading fic that goes for work too, sometimes ... I can resist anything except temptation) *g*

Glad it was the one you were looking for - it's like an itch you can't scratch, when you know a fic is out there but you can't quite put your finger on it! And it's a great fic - I love the scene in the club at the end, just before the epilogue with the piano *bg*
