Did I imagine a story where Bodie is guarding Doyle's family and the "bad guys" attack them in the garden? I seem to think Bodie and Doyle aren't getting on, or Doyle is no longer with CI5, but Doyle's family are impressed that Bodie got hurt saving them. Or something like that. It is so vague it is probably a figment of my imagination.
Any ideas?
There is one where Doyle is invalided out of CI5 (I think) and a member of his family gets kidnapped. Bodie rescues said member at a handover on a street somewhere. I don't think this is the one (because the scene in the garden is so vivid) but if anyone's got a link for this one I'll happily read it as well.
I leave myself in all your capable hands ...
ETA:- I am, as always, in awe of how helpful and fast Pros fans are. Both stories have now been found, plus another similar one. The next question is "which one should I read first, hmmm?" Thank you to everyone who helped.
