Bodie's Uncle is an Earl

I have read this story recently and now a friend has asked about it, but neither of us can remember Author, Title nor where. ::headdesk::

Cowley sends Bodie and Doyle to a country home knowing that Bodie is a nephew of the Earl, something Bodie has never told Doyle and Doyle is stunned to find out when they arrive. They meet several of Bodie's uncle's and the nanny who hated Bodie as a child and he is still secretly afraid of her.

All help will be greatly appreciated.
