Recs: Virgin Doyle
Feb. 26th, 2013 09:13 amHi all,
I'm in the mood to read virgin-Doyle stories where he was nervous with his first m/m sex and Bodie was so sweet and gentle about it.
List out your favourites, please!

Date: 2013-02-28 03:56 pm (UTC)All I can think of right now is Firestarter (http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/tca/archive/14/firestarter.html), by Caro Dee. and it's not nervous-Doyle, more rather-startled Doyle. But it's lovely. And hot!
Doyle's a bit more nervous in this: The Benefits of Relaxation (http://maddalia.livejournal.com/10768.html), by Maddalia.
So few replies! Shall have a think for more.

Thank you for the recs! It would be lovely to have more :) It's not actually a rare theme in Pros, is it?

Date: 2013-03-02 06:58 am (UTC)So am I correct to say that the only way I can read new never-published-online circuit archive stories today is at Proslib?

Date: 2013-03-02 07:09 am (UTC)I suddenly have a craving to read that kind of sweet and lite stories :D and now I' m making trouble for people. Finding missing fics is always easier than searching for recs, right.
Jane has lots of stories. She'll keep me busy rereading her stories :)
Thank you again.

Date: 2013-06-06 11:25 am (UTC)Proslib (the mailing list) certainly does email out old stories that are new to the net; but you can also keep an eye on Archive Of Our Own for stories posted with the Pros tag. In among the flood of new fic, old zine-only fiction does pop up regularly, Aerye's The Rules of Engagement is one, and Elizabeth Holden has just put nearly a dozen stories up which were first published in zines.
There is an LJ 'feed' you can subscribe to which will let you know when they are posted:
(Edited to fix URL. I hope)
