I'm looking for a fic - and I *thought* it was "Jigsaw Puzzle" by HG, but I just read the beginning, and I don't think it's this one - where Ray had left Bodie/CI5 because he was invalided out (?) or something and they had lost contact, and Bodie *seemed* to live with a girlfriend and child, just they were both not his and he only pretended them to be in order to hurt Ray. Ray lived with a sculpturer/friend of his and had made a sculpture himself that betrayed his extreme misery. Then they somehow both re-joined CI5 as trainers/ops controllers or something and started their broken affair anew. 

I seem to remember that Bodie nearly raped Doyle one time, after he had beaten the crap out of him in a training session and Murphy (?), I think, was very worried because Ray had been shot and Bodie didn't know and therefore had been more forceful than he should have been during training. 

And Ray had cut his hair and had no perm, but slowly, slowly he re-instated his old CI5-persona and got a new perm.... or something. I think I remember that he had students and they found him gorgeous whith the new/old hairstyle. Oh, and he jumped over the pews in the lecture room, like he does.

Sorry, that this is so jumbled - I'm not even sure I'm not mixing together several unrelated fics - but that's all I remember. Does anyone know this monster? Oh, yes, it was looong....

It's on the CD, which is well worth the investment I might add! Hours upon hours of wonderful reading, a lot of which isn't available online.

I don't think one EVER exhausts the online fic. There's just so much of it, and more being added every day. But - it's fun trying!

I think you may have a valid point there. At the moment I'm reading Bodie/Doyle slash with the occasional Murph or other male character thrown in for added smutty angst. Haven't searched out any gen yet!

I don't mean to be offensive, but... I *really* hate it when people say things like that about gen. :issorry:

As a genner I'm used to get comments like, "Not bad for a gen-fic." or "Great, even though it's gen!" and such and it really starts to bother me.

That some people don't see everything related to sex but have a few other interests they like to write and read about does *not* make them the dark side. I personally think it's a perfectly legit thing to want to read about something other than sex.

As a slasher, *I* dont want to always read about sex either! Just because it's labelled as slash doesnt mean it has to have sex in the story. Sometimes it's just about the relationship between the boys.

And it was meant as a joke, hence the *grin* afterwards.

It's just my opinion. I'm sure lots of non-slashers have the same view of slash as I do of gen and het!
