Looking for ... MS as Chauvelin?

This is not (or rather, not solely) Pros and I'm not even looking for a specific fic but asking for recs/info - does anyone happen to know whether, apart from SAC's wonderful Breaking the Chains which I know and love, there are fics starring MS-as-Chauvelin and slashing him with an incarnation - any incarnation - of LC?

The general area of discussion came up on moonlightmead's lj recently and stirred a great and insatiable desire for more of him ....

Picture recs also gratefully received!

And I realise that there are of course two possible, wonderful pairings: Chauvelin/any-incarnation-of-LC and Chauvelin/strawberries *g*

Right, that's it. I need a copy of this. You never know: after I have seen it, there may be more fic!

In the meantime, monitoring in hope of pointers. All I can think of is a very different story: in a zine the name of which I forget, there's a Pros AU novella called Fraternite, set in the French Revolution. They're on opposite sides and meet when one is the gaoler of the other. Think it might be in Continental B&D. It's definitely on my shelf but I am not at home to check. Welcome to borrow it, but there is no MS as Chauvelin, and - ooh, let me check for things you don't like first!

TSP has been shown on the Drama channel on Sunday and Monday nights over the last few weeks. If you keep an eye on the listings, it's likely to be on again fairly soon, as they tend to constantly repeat everything.

Pardon my chiming in, but that novella sounds quite nice! I've quite enjoyed SAC's story and lamented that she never did a "further adventures of," as it were.

The SAC story is gorgeous, absolutely. The novella I am thinking of is, of course, quite separate from that, and is very much a Pros AU rather than MS-in-Chauvelin-guise. I can go into more detail, but don't know if you hunt out or avoid spoilers, warnings or what.

In all honesty I can't speak for the series itself - I'm quite severely allergic to REG. I've only seen Chauvelin in vids (but my gods is he luscious in them) so I hope I'm not misleading anyone! *g*

I love the series! Even whathisname. I think it's well done and beautifully filmed. I've watched it three or four times. MS is amazing in his role, and so damned sexy.

See, I looked at Blakeney as he is being so obnoxious to the point where everybody thinks he's a fool. But he's playing all of them. So I didn't have an adverse reaction to this character.

Yeah, I know what you mean - Blakeney is totally like that (I remember from the books). But tbh it's not really Blakeney so much as it's REG I can't stand - he sets my teeth on edge in everything I've seen him in. I'm sure he's perfectly competent, he's just ... not for me, you know? (but for MS as Chauvelin, I'd probably go a long way *bg*)
