Asking on behalf of a friend over at The Safehouse. Does anyone know the title/author of a story which includes the following, please:

- Doyle is hit by a car ( in a warehouse during an obbo ?! )
- badly injured leg
- kidnapping Doyle´s sister with baby ?!
- " thinking of trains - need your opinion "
- Bodie wanted to leave London

Really glad you found it - I saw your post at the_safehouse, but had no clue...

Is the problem with posting here that only members of the comm can make posts, and you've applied but not been approved? If so, one of the mods posted to her lj recently, so it might be worth dropping her a line - londonronnie (in case she sees this via the ping and can help!) probodie sadly died, and I've not seen melanieathene around for ages, but perhaps Londonronnie could add another mod who's around more often, or else open the membership so that people don't need approving to post...

I'm ashamed to admit it didn't ring any bells at all! The only baby story I could think of was 'Verity's one of us'.

And yet the title was familiar to me, and if I was just thinking about the title I'd feel that I had read it, if you see what I mean. (I wonder if there's another story with the same title? That does sometimes happen in Pros e.g. I think there are two 'Through a glass darkly' stories.)

Yes that does happen, especially when the title is a quote (which is understandable :0))

According to Cim3745's response to me over at the Safehouse, it's part 7 of a series - so I intend to dig the lot out!
