Forgotten where i read. Amnesia story. Bodie of course. mia during a chase. isolated country location. Taken in by a recluse artist or writer, female variety. plays happy house with her until CI5 comes knocking. Not much to go on but perhaps this rings bells for someone. Thanks in anticipation.

I read Death and Life and quite liked it, though Bodie's early reminiscing about all the people he'd miss made me a bit too sad (there's something about Bodie being beaten or dying which I really can't take and don't enjoy reading about and I hate seeing him beaten onscreen). I loved your beautiful quotes and the idea of an 'antiseptic hosptial'! God, if only........
